Cleveland Turkey Trot • Thanksgiving Morning Tradition
CSU Rec Center and Viking Public House are teaming up to bring you the Cleveland Turkey Trot, Northeast Ohio’s favorite Thanksgiving morning tradition for the whole family.
Since 1982 - the Cleveland Turkey Trot offers something for everyone: from competitive runs to casual family walks, a festive atmosphere with entertainment, costume contests, a dog-friendly vibe, and the joy of supporting local needs.

Race Day Timeline
• 7:00 am – Packet pickup begins (inside Public Hall)
• 8:45 am – 1 Mile Walk begins
• 9:15 am – Pre race announcements
• 9:25 am – National Anthem
• 9:30 am – 5 Mile & 5K start (chip-timed)
• 11:30 am – Course closes, Public Hall check in ends

• Official MyLaps Bib Tag timing for 5 Mile & 5K

• Non-perishable donations welcome on race day inside Public Hall—collection for St. Augustine’s (Tremont) and West Side Catholic Center. Most-needed items: canned goods, socks, underwear, soap, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste
Course Highlights
• 5 Mile course winds through Downtown ? Ohio City ? over Lorain & Detroit Superior bridges
• 5K shares most of the route, diverging near Progressive Field
• 1 Mile Strut is a family-friendly loop around the race site
